The Union County Hospital Authority operates a $4-million, 50,000 sq.-ft. nursing home with 147 beds, Union County Nursing Home, which is adjacent to Union General Hospital in Blairsville.

Union County will be accepting applications for the position of Communication Officer to work at the E-911 Center. Georgia Basic Communications Officer Certification is preferred but not required to apply. Applicants must be able to work 12 hour shifts including nights and weekends as required.
