The Union County Saddle Club was organized in 1986 by a group of interested people under encouragement of the Blairsville Kiwanis Club. The purpose of the Saddle Club is to promote the equine industry and recreation. Our top priority is to benefit the health, safety, and welfare of the horse and rider of all skill levels. The Union County Saddle Club is dedicated to adding value to our fellow horsemen and to our local community as well.

Union County will be accepting applications for the position of Communication Officer to work at the E-911 Center. Georgia Basic Communications Officer Certification is preferred but not required to apply. Applicants must be able to work 12 hour shifts including nights and weekends as required. Applications are available 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday – Friday at the Union County E-911 Center at 76 Hunt Martin St Suite D Blairsville, GA 30512. Contact number 706-439-6056.
