Vogal State ParkAppalachian Trail in Georgia – Also known as the AT

Arkaquah Trail – High ridge trail between Brasstown Bald and Track Rock Gap

AT Neels Gap to Hogpen Gap

AT Springer Mountain to Woody Gap– First section of the AT, begins on Springer Mt. and ends at Georgia 60

AT Woody Gap to Neels Gap

Brasstown Bald Trail – Climb to Georgia Highest Point, Brasstown Bald

Byron Herbert Reece Access Trail – Formerly the Blood Mountain Spur Trail, this is the AT access trail at Neel’s Gap

Coosa Backcountry Trail – Loop trail in the rugged mountains near Vogel State Park

Eyes on Wildlife Trail  – Fun loop trail that was poorly marked the last time we hiked it.

Helton Creek Falls – Brief hike through a cool mountain cove to two waterfalls, both of which are on Helton Creek.

Horse Trough Falls Trail – This brief leg-stretch is marked by the first bridge across the Chattahoochee River

Jacks Knob Trail – Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps as access to Brasstown Bald, this trail climbs to the top of Wolfpen Ridge.

Jarrard Gap Trail

Logan Turnpike – At first easy, the last mile climb to the Appalachian Trail is difficult.

Mill Shoals Trail – Mill Shoals is actually a fun trail, without a lot of hard walking or scenic views.

Slaughter Creek Trail – Probably the easiest access trail to the AT in Georgia, hikers use it for access to Blood Mountain

Wagon Train Trail – Beautiful, well banked trail that walks more like a road.
