Elections & Voter Registration

Board of Elections

The Board of Elections is responsible to prepare all election materials, including the certification of qualified individuals, ballot preparation and the actual conduction of elections and certification of results.

Voter Registration

The Board of Registrars is responsible for the safekeeping of all registration records for Union County. This includes adding new voters; removing deceased voters, felons, etc; entering voter history; and working with the office of the Secretary of State on a daily basis to verify voter eligibility.  We also are responsible for all early and absentee voting.

You can check the status of your provisional ballot by calling 706-439-6016 or emailing us at ucregistrar@uniongov.com
