If you are not already registered to vote in Union County, April 25th was the last day to register and be eligible to vote in the June 21th General Primary/Nonpartisan/Special Election. If you need to check your registration status you may do so at www.sos.ga.gov or by calling 706-439-6016.
Absentee mails out ballot applications are now being accepted in the Registrar’s office. Please note you must complete a new application to receive a ballot. The last day to apply for a mail out ballot is June 10th.

Board of Elections
The Board of Elections is responsible to prepare all election materials, including the certification of qualified individuals, ballot preparation and the actual conduction of elections and certification of results.
Voter Registration
The Board of Registrars is responsible for the safekeeping of all registration records for Union County. This includes adding new voters; removing deceased voters, felons, etc; entering voter history; and working with the office of the Secretary of State on a daily basis to verify voter eligibility. We also are responsible for all early and absentee voting.

While we encourage everyone to stay safe and vote by mail, early voting will be held:

Drop Box: The drop box was located downstairs in the courthouse in the early voting venue. The drop box was available during the hours of early voting.
