The Union County Short-term Rental (STR) Ordinance went into effect April 8, 2023.

The ordinance established an STR Board comprised of seven local Union County residents to include one representative from the Union County Fire Department, the Union County Building & Development, a local property management company, an STR owner, the STR Officer, and two community members at large. The governing authority shall establish powers, duties, rules, and regulations governing short-term rentals consistent with the provisions of the ordinance. The 2023 STR Board is as follows:

The Union County STR Board will hold its Regularly Scheduled Business Meetings for 2023 as follows. All meetings are held at 5:00 p.m. in Conference Room 201 at the Union County Community Center located at 129 Union County Rec Road, Blairsville, GA 30512 unless otherwise indicated.
